Opening doors
The moment we (and hopefully some of you) have been waiting for is here. We’re finally sending out more invites to Goplan, our online project management and collaboration tool. It did take a while, but we’re not big fans of bells and whistles when something isn’t quite ready. Well, now it is - not the final version, or we’d let everyone in, but it’s pretty close so we’re sharing the love.
We’re also opening up this weblog where you can keep up with the latest updates on Goplan, so subscribe to the RSS feed or keep checking in every once in a while.
Invite information
We’re inviting a few dozen people and giving each 5 invites. Every once in a while for the next 3 weeks of testing and listening to user feedback, we’ll be sending invites to new people and giving invitees a few more of their own to share with their friends and colleagues.
We’re doing it this way because we want to scale things smoothly. Even though we now have the platform to take on as many users as we may need (oh, the joys of virtualization - more on the infrastructure in a future post), we still want to listen to the feedback of this first batch of users to finally open up completely and deliver a great product.
A little more information
For those of you who aren’t in the invite list and still want to see how Goplan is, check the flickr set for the development stage where a few screenshots have been posted in the past couple of months. There’s also the first post we wrote about goplan, and an update a month ago.
Hi, I’ld love an invitation for a charity organization, for whom I am reorganizing their office workflow, largely based on web apps now. They are pretty new to the online world, so could be interesting to hear what they say.
